Tauhara hosts different kinds of spiritual, educational, cultural retreats and events. Retreats, meetings, conferences and events we host, vary from yoga retreats and writing retreats to school groups and reiki conferences. See our calendar of events for information and availability.

With our beautiful buildings, spacious grounds and amazing views of the Lake, we offer the perfect location for your (group) retreat. Please contact us to discuss the different options of bringing your retreat to Tauhara.

The Tauhara centre: variety of spaces

We have a variety of rooms and other spaces available to meet your (group’s) needs. Our spaces are perfect for meetings, studying, conferences, (silent) meditation, bodywork, healing, music concerts and cultural events.

Accommodation at the Tauhara Centre

We have self-contained cottages and shared bunk rooms available, to accommodate 64 people. In the warmer months, we can accommodate over 80 people.

We can cater healthy, nutritious (mostly vegetarian) meals for your group retreat or event.
